OBJECTIVE: Te Arikirangi asked me to build a new website for Kaea, a consultancy that specialises in the return of ancestral remains and cultural heritage to their communities of origin. The website needed to be accessible, easy to update, and because the website is based in the EU, GDPR-compliant.
THE BUILD: The base for the design of the website was the stunning graphic design work by Chloē Reweti, who created the logo and the design system. From design to the launch of the website took just under four weeks, and the website included an insights section that featured and focused on the Pūkaea Podcast.

OBJECTIVE: This was a website rebuild, with the goal of bringing the website in much closer alignment with the company brand. In particular, we wanted to focus on Fair & Square pre-designed and space concious Villas.
THE BUILD: The original website was built on WordPress, we decided to rebuild the website in Webflow to take advantage of the flexibility of the Content Management System and the no-plugin/no-code environment. The website took about a month to launch, including discovery, design, build and audits.

PLATFORM: Webflow
OBJECTIVE: Working photographers need a professional presence on the web, and Mark Y needed a professional showcase for his portfolio so that people could see some of his work.
THE BUILD: We went with a very simple one-page design. Mark is still in the early stages of his business, so our priority here was a matter of personal branding, we wanted a simple, minimalist showcase that focused on the kind of work that he does and the best examples of his work. We chose a sans-serif font and a monochrome colour palette. The top navigation is simple, with each of the links scrolling to different sections of the home page.
"Voda Models was a Wellington-based agency that represented models and talents from all over New Zealand."
PLATFORM: Webflow

PLATFORM: Webflow
OBJECTIVE: This was a website rebuild. Originally hosted on Wix, we originally considered a move to WordPress, before we decided on a complete rebuild in Webflow. With a focus on encouraging, enriching and inspiring photography, the website needed to be able to showcase exhibitions and events hosted by Photography Aotearoa in a number of different ways.
THE BUILD: The team at Photography Aotearoa already had developed compressive specs for the development of a new website, so our focus was on building a future-proofed website with a flexible Exhibition Content Management System that could grow and change as the organization grew in the future.
